Valve Lock
Valve Lock
shd sorry if my X5 valve body transmission is bad?
I have a 2003 x5 4.4i bmw has 87,000 km of mileage during the check team noted that the dealers I have torque converter lock up excessive friction coupling, and three months, the guilt remains sayinf happening now, I never felt a change in torque or fuel consumption but sometimes I feel that while the zero acceleration and stop I feel a slight bump when the car stops, my mechanic says my problem is a faulty valve body that regulates the hydraulic pressure of the torque converter and makes them slide so Fixin body everythn valve will solve, is this true? What are the symptoms of a bad valve body? Can anyone help? BMW experts out there>?
You should definitely feel a change in the way the accels car through the gears, I'll take to the dealership to make you see it. The car still should be under warranty, should not it? If so, would be his responsibility coorect the problem anyway. Good luck
