How do you take off the armor under their shirts?

How do you take off the armor under their shirts? I have the firm compression sleeve I bring my elbow through his shirt first lift above me. I always feel like its going to rip and the type of struggle to get out. It must be an easier way exit. How you get it all, in addition to the mine or someone to help haha

What I do is grab the bottom of the shirt with both hands crossed each other, then pull me upwars and over my head. Then take your arms. Hope this helped!
