Male promise ring ?
My girlfriend and I both decided on getting each other a promise ring.
Is it uncommon for us guys to wear a promise ring? Also, is it uncommon to wear the given promise ring as the wedding band? It seems like the given male promise rings are wedding bands http://www.titaniumkay.com/Black-Tungsten-Carbide-Wedding-Band-Ring-w-3-Grooves-P103421.html an example of what i mean. Im 21 btw.
Thanks all for the answers. She just broke up with me because I didn’t move fast enough for her in a relationship. There’s no way i will marry someone when only dating for a year. “we have been dating for 2 months, and i was planning for the rings in summer.” It wasn’t soon enough for her. Am i the only one who thinks its just a bit too fast on her end? Heck, i want to graduate college before i get married, and that’s not for another year and a half. Well, at lest I found out early on.
Do you think i am doing the right thing by saying “no?”
It’s starting to become more common for guys to wear engagement rings. I’ve never heard of a guy wearing a promise ring.
