My wife and I will be travelling with Ryanair. Can she carry a handbag as well as hand luggage?

The hand luggage will be of the correct size and weight to go in the overhead locker. I will also have a security bag for passports etc strapped to my waist. Their rules suggest that only one item is allowed on board.

i have been on many ryanair flights and you will have no problems bringing both. i have seen people bring suitcases into the cabin. (see previous questions on why)

as to the person bringing camping equipment, i believe there is a box to tick if you are bringing music/sports equipment. maybe you should have ticked it and found out?
