5.5 months old kitten gums bled me.?
My cat just lost a tooth. He is in the process of getting all their shots, so that our last visit three days ago, showed me his teeth, and she said it was normal (he was losing his baby teeth). She also took a look and said everything seems fine. He eats dry food in the morning, and is available for a snack throughout the day if desired, and he eats bags Whiskers food for dinner. It is a single serving of wet / canned food. Tonight, while eating dinner (soft / canned food), which was making funny as he had long hair / thread in the mouth. I recorded a napkin, to see if I could get something out of it, and instead saw blood on the napkin. I looked inside, and it seems that There is a little blood from the upper gum on the right side … Obviously, the food could not have scratched his gums though. Does anyone know what might be? And he will be back to the vet soon, but meanwhile … I'm worried. THANKS
The only reason I can think of an answer is because is teething. You know how some babies bleeding gums when teething? This could be the problem. Matt.
