is it worth buying a camelbak Water Backpack?

i saw one at the sporting good store and it was like $100! but i also thought it was cool and possibly worth the buy. I go hiking, biking, and snowboarding and do other similar activities, but am a little put off by the price tag. What i want to know about it is how long it will last and how comfortable it is if i wear it all day. What kind of activites can is stand up to? what do you use yours for?

worth its weight in gold. when they first came out i thought that they would never catch on. then on a trip with my girlfriend she let me use her extra one. after that i was sold. and that was over 10 years ago. i haven’t used a regular Water Bottle in years. i now have 4 of them. they are comfortable to wear and with a bit of care will last years. biking, biking, skiing, hiking etc…. the only place it has problems is high altitude climbing in sub zero temps. if the tube is not sufficiently insulated it can freeze. i think the Heavy Duty 3 liter is the one i would choose. nothing says that you have to fill it up, but a 1 liter can’t have 2l put in it. buy it with confidence. it will be a good piece of kit.
