Can anyone recommend a good backpacking stove gasoline?

I think I want to buy a folding base w / separate fuel bottle as a WhisperLite or MSR Dragonfly. I'm not a monster-oz bar or speed, but would like a good compromise between size / weight / stability / price (the base is not adjustment should have no problem playing a pot) without sacrificing reliability. On the contrary, is there any reason why you should buy a cartridge heater in place? Thanks!

The old bottle of liquid vs. fuel debate haha I `ll save a novel written about it. Yes, boats can be lighter, but you may need to take more than one container, I suppose I could get bulky. But cans are not often work well in the cold, since the cans are under pressure and pressure is lost when temperatures drop and so lose the performance and efficiency, while liquid fuel stoves to provide the pumping pressure, so fuel liquid expired cold pack. But if you know will not be camping in the winter, you may want to consider bottle stoves. The other thing that stops me getting a boat stove is the cost of packaging. At $ 4 – $ 6 a pop (about a container of 100 grams), depending on the brand, so it adds up over time. When I can get a container of a gallon of white gas for that price if not cheaper in a hardware store. Moreover, once the cartridge is empty now its just taking up space because has to be taken out for recycling. Actually I have the MSR Simmerlite and so far I have not failed. It `s less than a pound (without fuel), while most packaging systems come in more than a pound. Moreover, its much cheaper. If you have the money for a boat system and end up being a liquid fuel stove because the extra money saved to a set of titanium cooking. Basic kits are not so bad, besides that "the new Super Light and if you get the boat the size range can fit in it perfectly. (I keep it in a bag so it does not scratch the inside of the pot) WhisperLite I think the design is simple enough so that not many Things can go wrong with him. Whereas the pot stoves have to be careful for the nozzle from clogging up if you are not careful and a lot of the time the electronic ignition these things are the first thing to go. Liquid fuel stoves are also more stable because they are closer to the ground and usually have a broader base, cartridge stoves in (though not all) have to balance a smaller size pot on the stove and fuel container. Go to an outdoor shop and actually try them. Tell them you are looking to buy a stove. Some of them even have clinics where they `ll art and art has a lot to prove. Check your Web sites for such events. If you have any questions feel free to email me or the services in question. I `ll be checking back www.backcountry.com (not questions return policy you buy does not like her? Send it back for an exchange or your money back, without a time limit of 1 day or 50 years later …. check out their great customer service)
