Lap top buzing makes a noise when put through a DJ mixer?
Hello. I put my laptop through my dj mixer as I mixed up the programs on it. But when I do I get a buzzing noise through large speakers (not the back up) when the laptop is pluged in Im Assuming this is because there is a power serge at the computer when the battery runs fine. My only problem is that the battery is not so great .. Is there Somehow the hum can be stopped while the laptop is still pluged in the network? Thanks
It depends. There are a couple of reasons why. First the easy. Could unless the cable from the laptop to the console is not well protected, and is accelerating the "buzz" of the network (the grid is 50 Hz AC so I suspect that buzz is 50Hz). Can you hear the hum of portable speakers, headphones, or if the volume is full? Second power supply Laptop can not be very well smoothed. In general, portable power sources to convert AC to DC, but some still leave a 50Hz "fluttering." A source of High Quality energy could solve this problem, or even the laptop could pick up the hum of the battery that is too close. Here is a good test. Extends the network cable to the laptop in a straight line, and then connect the laptop but make sure the audio and power cables do not intersect, and preferably in opposite directions. If you can not "stretch" the cables, make sure that no loop at the far ends of the laptop, and then see if the effect is less. If so, you are picking up interference fade in the audio cable or laptop, in which case you should be able to find a way to protect the signal, but it is the same, then the power supply laptop, in which case the best thing to do is run on batteries as possible to make audio until you can get better power supply.
