How do i properly pack a suit for travel overseas?

I’ll be going to the US in just over 2 weeks, and as it turns out, i may need to wear a suit at some point. I already have a suit ready to take, but am unsure as to how to properly get it ready.I want to avoid any creases on the jacket and shirt Do i treat it like normal clothing or is there some thing else i can use?

consider a hanging bag that you can check in. some of these can hold more than just a suit and shirts.
