I'm going hunting in a day or two some tips on what to pack?
clothing appropriate ammunition overtime Cleaning Kit disposable cover-alls rubber gloves wet clothes water time high food energy source (dried meat, nuts, dried fruit, etc) spare socks calling cellular / scents / lures (as applicable) knife whistle (with sharpening stone) Also if you are hunting in a rural area: GPS (with extra batteries) map (with compass, and know how to use both) source of fire (I suggest a small waterproof torch, and butane to fill) 100 "1 / 4" string (military "550" cord is big) spare boots.
What to bring on your hunting trip
Any trip you take should be well thought out. You should think about where and what is being done to know what to load to carry with you. After all, being prepared is always a good thing.
This is especially true for hunting and fishing trips where you can to stay outdoors. Being outside can be fun, but only if you are prepared for Mother Nature. If you are not ready for what's going to throw his way, trip can become miserable experience which movies are made.
The first step is intelligent packaging research. If you have never been where you go, read about it. Learn what kind of conditions is met, and what kind of animals you may encounter. Can not be ready for anything you not see that coming.
One way you can find out about the area to be is by requesting a brochure or check the status and the websites of the city. Sure you do not go somewhere you're not ready. If you've never been in an outdoor adventure, you should not start with a place that is too harsh. You can never enjoy that.
The next step in the packing smart is knowing what the weather will be like in that area. Do not assume that time will be the same where found. You can find predictions either online, by phone, and through television. Do not forget this important aspect of packing.
Once you have information on what it will be up against, then start packing. You begin, of course, with its fishing gear or hunting. That is a fact. Then you should consider when you sleep. Determine if you have a tent and Sleeping Bag, or have other amenities. This decision may depend in part on climate and the safety of sleeping outdoors.
You also should think about your daily use. If it is cold, make sure you have plenty to keep you warm and protects of possible rain or snow. Braving the elements is a part of the adventure of nature, but must be sensitive about it at the same time.
One of the most important and too often forgotten things in the package is a First Aid kit. You do not have to bring high-tech equipment but you must bring the basics. Sure that will be ready in case of accidents occurring.
You should also remember that you got to eat while you're away. Make sure you have all the tools you need to feed whilst you are away. Many people like to eat their catch when they are away. However, you must have a backup plan in case that fishing or hunting is bad. You do not want to go hungry all the time.
