I am thinking of investing in the atmosphere 50 pack osprey?

I wonder if anyone has this package and can give me some information. In addition, I have a big backpack and I use this one from one to four day trips with light equipment.

It weighs 3 pounds, 1 ounce, according to Osprey, and although is supposed to be ultra-light backpackers, which is on the heavy side. From the picture appears to be around a pound of tape loops and extra straps but I would love to cut several of them seem necessary to keep the top flap / bag on. It also has six other bags, compared with my backpack which has three pockets network outside the major. There seems to be a good little push-in pocket to keep all your socks wet, rain fly, etc, but no where to take their Water Bottles, Water Filter, or fuel, all of which must be stored outside if they escape. If you're really taking charge of placements ultralight titanium, possibly even the waist strap may be overkill.
