How I can reduce a size first safely with the material, etc. … still in good condition?

I have a few "doll" style tops and a couple of them are too great. I want to resize them about half full size. How do you tremble? One of them is 100% cotton and other has a 40% polyester and 60% cotton. I want to remain usable and cloth in good condition because they are new. Thank you. I have a normal dryer. It is a principle abercrombie, I do not want to ruin taking in seams, etc. with a sewing machine.

Place in a hot dryer, keep an eye on them, see often not to reduce them to much. Good luck!
