Odyssey Backpacking
Odyssey Backpacking
Europe backpacking idiot needs ideas and guidance …?
Do what the plan is to go on an odyssey through Europe and beyond in last request for an indefinite period amount of time (budget approximately £ 10 km) with a partner without brain. I'm going to go through railway, is very true, and stay in hostels to travel frugally. We're both under 25 so we could pick up some discounts … What are the best carrying travel books, Lonely Planet, work your way around the world? I'm from Jersey Channel Islands for the best and cheapest thing to do would be to take a ferry to St Malo, then train through France and I go somewhere in a southern direction to see Germany, Switzerland, Italy and then Greece. I'm debating the next step, because me and my friend wants to go to Morocco and / or Egypt so I think we have a round the world ticket, but first take a flight from southern Europe, ie Greece, and then continue on Asia, the Far East. etc. What is the most fun and better to do more or less what I described?
The most pleasant way is to have detailed planning ahead of time and then be willing to go in a completely different direction in the short term. It is possible to get somewhere and I love or hate it, changign their ideas on how time spent or hear of a "must" place that was not on his agenda. £ 10k sound much, but soon is consumed in "Western countries. The money section for each country in the Lonely Planet website says it costs about a budget. Asia is cheap, but the European countries you mention, the Far East and Oz will not be. I swear by Lonely Planet but if you go to work, you may want to look at the range of Work your way and see if you may wish to take one of them. At least leaf through a book store and make mental notes of any useful clue. You may want to speak to an agent specialist such as STA or Trailfinders about your options VAM. Consider the climate – not to stay in Asia during the monoon / typhoon season or the west coast of the Americas during hurricane season if you can help. They also believe that you will need to set the dates for your flights and you may need to pay a fee if you want change. they alos have a limit 12 months in them. Similarly, some border crossings require you to have proof of onward ticket. If you can do it … Europe, including Spain, Portugal, Hungarian, Czech Republic, Croatia, etc (all of which will be cheaper than France, Switz, Italy etc) and then fly to India for a while. More to Thailand, Cambodia loop, Vietnam and Laos, then go across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia and cross to Oz. Over in New Zealand. Fly to Latin America if you can get a RTW going there, otherwise U.S. or Africa and home. And good luck with your traveling companion. You may find that you do not stay together for the duration, especially if you has a high opinion of him / her before you start
