What kind of Mac laptop would be best for school?

I go to college in the fall and I am in business and advertising. I really want Mac laptop, but I'm new to the world of Mac My guidelines for school I am attending recommends Mac OS version 10.3 and higher. Help!

Hello. I have a a Macbook too, so I hope I can help. The new aluminum MacBook is pleasant but a bit expensive ($ 1,499). I have the black model in early 2008 OS 10.5 and works well. I bought mine for $ 1500, but when it was new. Now is $ 999. Whether you are budget conscious, I recommend the older model, but it works fine as the new Macbook and not sacrificing something big in comparison to the new MacBook. If you're willing to sacrifice a few hundred dollars for a team that is more environmentally sound (do not get me wrong, I am very conscious of the environment), a fantasy trackpad, an aluminum body, a screen LCD, among other features, then go for the new model. But regardless of whatever model you buy, I recommend you wait a few months until the new OS, Snow Leopard, is released by what is already installed on your computer.
