How many chances have to become a Navy SEAL on active duty?

Im going to the Navy for damage control man and was wondering if you have only one opportunity to basic training to be a seal or just may be in the Navy for a couple of years and then try. I'm not sure even I want to be a seal, but I think it would be atleast a deal worth'm just not well prepared now

Enlisted have unlimited opportunities, except under two conditions: if "the hood" to themselves or the command does not not support the request. Benji no rating source more. SEAL is now its own rate.
