Mountain Bike
What kind of bike should I buy if I want to start mountain biking?

I am a teenager seeking to start biking in the mountains / Freeride. I have ridden bikes before, but I've never really been all-rounder. I want a bike that is capable of going off-road and on the road. Preferably one that is not cheap. What kind of bike you should get and where? By "fit" im guessing that means what I feel comfortable on the bikes? and so just go to surf shops and .. I like to see?

I agree. Check out your local bike shop. Around this time of year you can get a number of motorcycles 2009. I have a $ 880 bike for $ 750 about 5 weeks ago. I could probably get a better deal now that the 2010 models are out. You can probably get a $ 700 bike for around $ 500 if you're lucky. BUT! do not let a store that sells a bike just so they can get rid of it. I'm 5'8 "and had a shop try to sell me a 19" Kona for a really good price, but did not fit. This could also happen again in this season. Finally, whatever you do, try to walk. Do not buy a bike if you have never gotten into it. Here are some models that might work for Input Level: Trek 4300 (might consider the model disc brake) Specialized Hardrock (once again. consider disc) Felt Q520 Mountain Kona Fire Time to website brand and get a better idea of what would be getting the bike you're viewing. Good luck man … it is a fun sport
