Morning Star
Anyone have the "secret" recipe for veggie burgers Morning Star?

I love the burgers Morning Star vegetables, but they're getting very expensive – I can not afford them more. I tried several recipes for veggie burgers, but none of them was sufficient to worth the hassle. So I wonder if anyone has the secret recipe to double veggie burgers Morning Star so I can make myself.

I have no secret recipe. While this is a close and yet really good. try this … Ingredients: 3 cups water 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed 1 & 1 / 2 cups bulgur wheat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (I use no spray) 1 / 2 cup chopped green onions 1 / 2 cup shredded carrots 1 / 4 cup chopped fresh parsley 1 / 4 cup tahini 2 tablespoons tomato paste 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard dash black pepper Bring water to boil. In another pan or skillet that has a lid, heat oil (or just use pan spray) on medium to medium-high heat and saute garlic and bulgur for about 2 minutes (uncovered), stirring frequently. Add boiling water and bring to boil, cover, reduce heat to low, simmer and let the bulgur for about 15-20 minutes until all liquid is absorbed and bulgur is soft but chewy. When the bulgur is ready, add the remaining ingredients. When the mixture is cool enough to handle, so that in 6-8 patties with wet hands (is sticky). The pies can be baked or to a degree preheated 375 F oven on a greased sheet for 20 minutes, or may be fried in a large skillet with oil over medium-low heat about 10 minutes, turning halfway. Serve on buns with your favorite ingredients of the hamburger, or even just a little soy sauce. These were the first veggie burgers I've tried, and I loved'em from the beginning! Very tasty! They are very solidly united, however, so it really will not be able to throw right on the grill. I never tried to freeze, but left a few days off keep in the fridge.
