Metal Frame

Metal Frame
My plan is to buy a metal frame Intex pool today, what else should I buy to keep my pool?

It is a 10 "x 30" on ground pool metal frame pool. I know I'm going to need chlorine, shock, algaecide and pH testers, but what kind? Besides, how much and how Often I have to add these items to the pool since it is small? He says he has a little more than 1,100 gallons.

You can get all that, sure, but …… Why not buy what you need to start? I did not need a lot of other chemicals that bleach and some baking soda, and keep the pool clean (takes 5-10 minutes!) You will need a ph tester and chlorine, chlorine, perhaps a holder of chlorine, (ours is a duck and plop 2-4 tabs on it and let it float) a ladder or steps, and out of the pool (again, you can come with your kit!) and water. These are the basics. Next, you need a skimmer, you can come with swimming pool, and a sweeper bottom of the pool for debris that falls to the bottom. I would think, what if someone can not swim or God forbid, drowns or you need to reach a toy, maybe a hook to snag or toys with them? I want to invest a little in some sand, white sand game works well for the ground level and make the bottom of the pool nice and comfortable for the feet, and to cover any little rocks or things that have happened. Nothing sucks like having a 1000 gallon water pressing down on a rock SHARP little you step every five minutes in the pool (been there, done that!). Take a couple of filters that will pump pool filter (Trust me on this, running to the store to the height of the pool season to find the one you need is OUT, or worse, I can not remember is A or B or C? Or any of the above?). I would pick up a few rings bath just for kicks a ball (kids love the ball and water!), And maybe a floating light of some kind. I have one for $ 20 which is a flash ball spinning disk, turns off the water, patterns of color changes, and so on and off automatically when the water is still for more than five minutes. Totally worth the money! At night, when children are playing, you can see, have fun with it they are not everything, mood lighting of the pool. If you have small children, invest in a pair of life jackets, and if not, might still be prudent to one or two on hand for visitors. I do not know what is the depth of your pool, but whatever you do, DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK OF CHILDREN 2 minutes! You will be surprised what Junior will do if mom is back. Anything from holding Suzie's head just under water too long, and splashing in the right mouth when it comes to fresh air. Set rules and be very strict about who, what, when, and to address serious violations as soon as possible and do not worry, they will get next time, cause now they know that the pool will cost them time. I have a group "glove", which is basically a glove made how blue indoor / outdoor carpet and it's great to get that goo black oil off the toys sit in the water and sides of the pool (you'll see late summer and then to know why body oil is bad!) Oh, and one last thing, a place to wash the feet and bodies BEFORE getting into the pool. You will be surprised how many blades of grass can stick to a wet foot and did not take long to become irritated with skimming out of the pool, when they sink to the bottom, they become a nuisance that has to be vacuumed, or have other chemicals to break down, as algaecide or shock. And keeping to a minimum body oils to prolong the life of the filters, once you see how dirty they get, you know what I mean. We learned from our own little backyard pool what works and what does not. We spent money on stupid things, but these are worth investing in. Also, do not buy anything from the dollar store for the pool, unless you only want it for today. Most of their darts from the pool, swim rings and the like, not worth the dollar in the long term. However, for a quick fix or a party, have at it! But do not expect much of her longevity. Hope this helps and I hope you have fun in your new pool. We've already spent. 2 full days in our …. oh … oh …. and this brings up ….. ….. sunscreen invest in a high number, waterproof, and check and make sure your application before entering WELL in the pool or sun exposure, one of our children got very sunburned, when he realized his was not effective sunscreen immediately after application (it was supposed to wait 30 minutes) so read the instructions carefully! Mom did not know she was not the type that could touch and go! I would have given him mine. Ok, back to the fun!
