How To lock the door of my home (from home iteams)

I am very trustworthy and I think a child my parents did not trust me because to …. (Maybe they did things in his room when they were young and im going to do), but they will not buy me a lock for my door. ive asked again and again. Anyone know a way to make a lockout of Lil iteams homeless? BTW: it opens the door to my room.

Most of the room doors open in. You can wedge a chair under the handle of the door, chuck door or stick under the door. Overall if you have to keep people out while you're not there you'll need a lock but I once saw a closed door for a long rod through the wall and the jamb on the edge of the door.
