Drinking water also helps lubricate joints to remain mobile and active. Drinking water can also relieve headaches and can ease skin conditions and may delay visual effects of aging to keep your skin soft and young.
The two most obvious functions of the body that causes loss of water are urine and sweat. urination is essential to eliminate toxins from the body when fluid levels are low the body perpiration increasingly used as a way to eliminate toxins, this may irritate existing skin complaints such as eczema.
Climatic conditions have an obvious effect on the amount of water a person drinks. In summer we all drink more, but winter tempature can be misleading and can cold and dry cause dehydration. The environment in which they live and work in has a huge influence on the amount of water to drink, some particular forms of heating in air systems forced can cause dehydration.
As a general rule, men need to drink more water than women, but pregnant and breastfeeding women must maintain a high level of water consumption.
