highschool chemistry scavenger hunt!?
ok, so i have a list of 100 items to fill in a shoebox for my chemistry class. ive gotten most of them, but a couple i find tricky. id be sooo grateful for some help.
1. Something containing an inert gas-name the gas.
2. Ionic substance whose lattice energy is more than its hydration energy
3.A substance that dissolves exothermically
4. Acidic salt (baking soda, NaHCO3?)
A material which contains exactly 200 nutritional calories
5. A natural long-chain polymer
6. A list of all thenaturally occuring isotopes of molybdenum. Identify those isotopes that are radioactive.
7. A tangible example of Le Chatelier’s Principle
8.Acidic anhydride that makes a refreshing drink
9. A non-aqueous solvent with its chemical formula.
10. An example of a slightly polar non-electrolyte
11. A substance containing a halogen- name the halogen.
These must be tangible objects that fit in a shoebox. Any help is welcome. Thank you so much!!!
