Is there a trade fair / friendly hydration water ecosystems (such as CamelBak and Nalgene Sing)?

Prefer not to buy plastic Sing by Camelbak. There are leather Sing bladders … but I wonder if any of these leather Sing come with a hose / tube so I can leave my backpack for hiking long. Thanks! :)

this is the best I could find (see below)

Pets Tips for hiking with your dog

It is no secret that exercise is a must for both you and your dog. We often forget our dogs are pack animals and their origins are rooted in hunting, gambling and roaming throughout the day with your family package. If you are already in the habit to walk your four-legged friend, you know it's a special moment for both of their share of obligations and establish itself as the national leader of his "package." Why Why not toss a little routine and lack of training at high speed by taking your best friend for a walk?

Follow these 5 tips and excursions will surely be a wonderful experience that you both enjoy together!

1. Know your limits (yours and your dog)

Does your current exercise exercise by walking around the block a few times? Then you may want to rethink that 10 miles is drawing upward. Not only be able to walk without difficulty, so does your furry companion. Start the intensification of his walks, making them longer and include hills if possible for two you can create resistance. It is also advisable to take your dog to the vet just to make sure that he will be able to comfortably accompany you when ready for hiking. Dogs are people complacent and never want to let you have injured or in pain, so that endure for as long as possible.

2. Be prepared

Once you have determined that your walk is a "go", either a long or a short trip, make sure you have the following elements:

– Collar and leash – Bring these the same way as when you go for regular walks.

– Proper identification tags – Labels must be legible and specify the name of your dog and your contact information current. It is also a good idea to have a current photo with you in case you become separated.

First Aid Kit – Human first aid kits can be useful in the case of a cut or scratch (for either). Strip him forceps for easy removal of the tick.

– Vet's phone number – in case something unexpected happens, keep the phone number your vet with you so you can quickly find ways to take better care of your dog. You can never be too careful.

– Sunscreen – Both need sunscreen and sunscreen made specifically for dogs. light-colored noses are very susceptible to sunburn and dogs can get cancer skin as you.

– Orange vests – Whether or not you are taking your hike during hunting season. orange vests for you and your dog will ensure that two stand out.

– Appropriate dress – When hiking in cooler weather, bring an extra layer if your dog tolerates "clothes." For trips in summer, wear a scarf cool, damp or tissue that can lead to a bite of heat.

3. Bring water and food

Like you need to feed and hydrate a workout, the same is true for your pets. Bring plenty of water and a dish that you can drink from (collapsible bowls are made easy to travel) and often offer along the road. A good rule of thumb is to take 8 ounces of water for every hour you plan to hike (and do not forget to bring water for yourself!). It is best not to drink water from streams and other natural sources, since they may contain nasty bacteria that will make you wrong. Water Bottles are frozen are also a great package if the weather is hot and can offer immediate relief to your dog.

Food should be in rest periods or during episodes of less intense activity to ensure that not to disturb your stomach or cause swelling.

4. Be aware of your surroundings

Plan your hiking paths which are frequently used and provide a clear path, now is not the time to establish a new through the desert. In most cases, as likely find the usual suspects of the world's wildlife, like squirrels and maybe a buck or two. Keep your eyes open for canine common criminals, including porcupines and skunks. These animals are not so easily frightened by your dog and may become agitated.

yourself with what poison ivy and familiar other plants seem unpleasant. Although your dog can not get poison ivy, you can pass it, so it's best to keep them away from anything suspicious.

5. Mind Your Manners

The same rules to follow in his routine walks apply to his tours. Having a carry "in, carry out" the mentality, which includes cleaning of your dog on the road. Using a leash will ensure that other hikers, other dogs, as well as the flora and fauna around them will remain unchanged. If both are on a slow walk, let others move faster pass you easily.

Walking with your dog is a way wonderful to spend quality time together and enjoy the outdoors while getting a great workout. You're guaranteed to have a safe and fun make up only a little extra time to plan and prepare. Happy hiking!
