Would i be allowed to take an embroidery needle on an aircraft?

I am going on a long-haul flight and i was going to do a cross-stitch. The embroidery needle has a fairly blunt tip; if you poked yourself with it, it wouldn’t hurt.

you don’t say where you are flying from, I am guessing it’s from the uk due to the fact that you don’t refer to your Hand Bag as a “purse”.
I am not having a dig at the guy who gives you the tsa web site but if you are flying from the uk its 3cm not 4.
needles such as knitting needles, sowing needles and cross-stitch needles should be ok.
what I would suggest is when you get to the airport you are flying from before you check-in try and get to the security search area and double check.
but DON’T take any other country’s information and think it will work here it won’t
