So What color undershirts does he use? the green camo or white, what color socks? black or white. . I dont know much about Navy uniforms and stuff they need can you guys help? Thank You in advance. .
Yes, He is on a ship USS Nimitz and he has his laptop with him

Check and see if there is a Army/Navy Surplus store around where you live, a Ranger Joe type place, or any type of military stores. You can also go here:
https://www.navy-nex.com/ you won’t be able to purchase anything except a gift certificate but you can at least see what his uniforms consist of.

Here are some sites that list things to have/or not to have:

http://www.geocities.com/militarycarepackage/

http://www.militarywives.com/index.php/component/option,com_content/task,section/id,8/Itemid,55/

Here is the united postal service rules and regulations. You will need to fill out a customs form for every package you send but not letters.
The USPS has a Military Care Kit, or “Mili-kit” to make it easier for military families and friends to send care packages to their loved ones stationed overseas. Each kit contains two Priority Mail boxes, six Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes, eight Priority Mail labels, one roll of Priority Mail tape and eight customs forms with envelopes. This kit may be ordered by calling the USPS Expedited Package Supply Center at 1-800-610-8734. There is no charge for the kit. The Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes included in the kit can be shipped to any APO/FPO in the world, regardless of weight, for $8.10.

Other useful info:
Try to send something homemade. I have info on cakes in a Jar if he likes cakes and such. I also send hubby breads and brownies (also in a jar) and cookies.

Try putting together a photo album for him. Make it for him. get pictures of his family and friends. Doing anything and everything. People can write a small note and include it in there. Take a picture of his car, or maybe his pet, or his prized collection of football gear, etc. and include them in the photo album. He will love this.

Send him dvd’s that he likes, or even make a cd of his favorite songs or you can send him homemade videos of his family. You can also go here to put these pictures to song and dvd.

Remember, just think of him. Try seeing if your local church or school will sponsor him. They love making cards and putting together things like this. Remember that he might not be able to write you back as much as you write him but hearing his name at Mail Call will be the best thing for him. I know my husband’s days are better when he receives a letter from home.

Good luck and if you want to email me I have a 11 page list of themed care packages and other things on cakes in a jar that you can have.

Take care and have fun.
