How many mm of travel can be put on a 2009 Giant Trance X?

How many mm of travel can be put on a 2009 Giant Trance X? Can I put 140 mm of front travel on it? i want to put a set of Fox 32 Vanillas but i’m not sure if the frame can hold 140 mm. And it is possible to put a Fox DHX Air 5.0 for rear travel? Thanks!

Stay with the factory spec’s, 120mm on the front. A 140mm will slow down the steering some, and the early generation Trances came with a 100mm fork so Giant has already upped the fork travel for you. You shouldn’t really need a 140 on a Trance any way IF the fork is set up properly. Leave the shock on the rear alone unless it is a lower end Trance, then I would upgrade it to an RP32.
