question for comp genius Blue screen when using Coreco pc2 CAMLINK (frame grabber) on a DELL Optiplex?
using DELL optiplex 330 or 755, will taking a snapshot with that frame grabber the computer shows up a blue screen saying:
***Hardware Malfunction
Call your hardware vendor for support
NWI: Parity check / Memory Parity Error
*** The system has halted ***
I know it is not the memory cause i changed the chip and it still does it. So if anybody has any idea how to stop it from doing this without using another computer it would be great.
oh btw the cam used does not change anything, i still get that blue screen.
Thank you i looked at the processor that should be used with it and apparently it only supports intel pentium III and that is why it crashes with dell optiplex since they have intel core II :/
it is probably your processor, it could also be the motherboard and is probably a cooling issue
