At first my buddies were not at all cool with the idea of carrying a ‘picnic table’ to our outing to Lonavala. They said I sounded like a grandma right at the moment when I even mentioned it. Hello!!! This was no ordinary table. It was my Folding Portable Bamboo Outdoor/Indoor Family Picnic Table. Needless to say, it had everyone in awe! I I wasn’t carrying a whole lot of paraphernalia to the picnic-you know how our grandparents used to carry a carriage full of countless rugs to sit and umbrellas to shade the sun. And we were ready to chill out! Ronny was amazed. Priya squatted next to me on one of the four seats and took out her playing cards. Soon the four of us were playing a game of bluff on my Multipurpose Picnic Table. Ronny brought in some colas and munchies. Nicky placed her music player on the Picnic Table. Soon we were eating, drinking, playing and dancing around it.

We were at Lonawala and how could it not drizzle? So drizzle it did. But this time, instead of running helter-skelter, trying to cover up everything, we just stacked ourselves in the car- the Bamboo Picnic Table was waterproof and our umbrella made double-sure nothing got wet. Phew, what a relief! Hey, but weren’t we out on a picnic? How could we be such spoilt-sports? This in mind, Ronny turned on the car’s ignition and slid in our favourite CD in the music player. There was rain, there was music and there were friends. What more could one ask for? Then began one hell of a rain-dance party! That’s when Nicky got on the Bamboo Picnic Table and did a little jig for us. When the rain stopped, we sat relaxed and listened to Priya as she played her guitar. Truly, it was a day well spent.
