Are camo hiking bags a problem?
I’m planning on embarking on a Cross Country hiking/camping trip starting in spring of next year, and I just have a quick question:
While shopping around for gear I would need for the trip. On one website, I found a pair of bags, a backpack and a fanny pack that I really like. Problem is, is that they’re camouflage and I can’t find the same bags in a non-camo design. Would it be a problem to carry two camouflage bags around with me, or would I look suspicious and attract unwanted attention? I don’t want any trouble on this trip.
@Rev Thanks for the comment. No camo clothes. Just the bags.
I don’t understand why you think it would be an issue. It’s just a pattern, especially these days.
I have a lot of camo stuff that I wear on a regular basis: t shirts, hats, shorts, day packs etc. I never thought of wearing/carrying camo as anything more than a pattern.
I actually wish they made more gear in camo. Most camo gear seems to be heavy and/or cheap. I wouldn’t mind a camo tent or pack, as long as they were quality.
I say go for it. I wouldn’t see any issues.
