Dual Shock 3 Sixaxis: The Return of the Rumble!
How important is the game? Would you say that the game is more important than controller or which are equally important? PlayStation gamers Hard-core definitely agree that are so important, because to enjoy a good game need to be able to get a good grip on the action and have an idea of what is going on while playing, if there was an unresponsive driver play any PlayStation game 3 did not feel different to play a super Nintendo game.
Today we will review one of the most important accessories for any player to PlayStation 3, the driver. PlayStation has had two official controllers work with PS2 games, the first one is a Logitech driver, a better version would be the Dual Shock 2 and latest version is the Dual Shock 3 Sixaxis, let's look at each one of them. Driver Logitech Although this driver is included with several units of PlayStation not is the most convenient and comfortable control to play yet due to the fact that you can not get a solid grip on the body of the controller and joysticks, buttons are not sensitive to pressure and can not say much about the vibration feature, in general the Logitech control is much worse than the driver has never been involved with PlayStation unit.
The Dual Shock 2 This driver offers several dramatic improvements in the Logitech driver, the body is very robust and you can get a pretty good grip of the device while playing a game, the buttons are pressure sensitive and can get the total control of the joysticks, which also act as buttons, in general this is a very solid gaming device.
Enter the Dual Shock 3 Sixaxis – A game customized peripherals
This new PlayStation controller takes all the great features of the Dual Shock 2, in order to control better. The Dual Shock 3 is a Bluetooth wireless controller that can charged via a USB cable that connects to the console, once it has reached full charge can unwind and enjoy all the Bluetooth wireless gaming capabilities. Gaming device uses a lithium ion battery that makes the driver a bit thicker and heavier than the Dual Shock 2. Another great feature is shown in the Dual Shock 3 is that the R2 triggers have changed a bit and now feel more like the activation of a real weapon. When it comes to vibration, the Dual Shock 3 is capable distribute the vibration intensity according to the playing field so if you're shot in the right side of the body (in the game of course) the right side of controller will vibrate more than the left side and vice versa, if you've been playing with the Dual Shock 2 controller know so you can not simulate this experience. The Sixaxis in Dual Shock 3 can be thought of as a replacement for the D-Pad, this means that if you tilt the controller forwards the game would react the same way as if you press arrow in the top of the D-Pad, the same would happen if you were to tilt the controller left, right or backward. Some players may feel that the Sixaxis function eventually replace the D-Pad. In general, the Dual Shock 3 controller is a very solid, feels good in your hands and improve their gaming experience of PlayStation.
