How do I get my 16 year old to pull up his pants and stop showing his boxers?

My son wears nice belts and pants that fit but his boxers show even when he wears long shirts. He insists this is not his style and it embarrasses him and he does not like it. He complains that it just happens when he pulls his pants up. To me, it looks like he stopped half way and never really pulled his pants up to begin with. I suggested that he hold both the boxers and the pants themselves while they are unbuttoned and unzipped and pull them up together but he says that it doesn’t help, it still happens.
He responds to positivity, a sense of humor understanding and telling him why, typically but I have already tried everything. I even made sure that his belts fit but they just seem to add weight and make the pants drag more! I need something new. Suspenders are NOT an option and he won’t he tuck in his shirt (That’s not his style, either). Please help!
