What is the best digital camera (point and shoot) for outdoor landscape?

I'm going backpacking in Europe this summer want to buy a new digital camera for my trip. I'm looking for a point and shoot can take crisp, colorful outdoor (ideally more than And 7MP 3x zoom). I also want the camera to use regular batteries, since I will not be able to carry a charger for lithium batteries. Any suggestions before venturing to buy more?
