how do you get extra days of leave after finishing usmc boot camp?

i heard you can more than 10 days off after boot by your recruiter doing something, not sure what it is though?

You request recruiters assistance or home town recruiting or whatever it is called these days. You go work with your recruiter.

If approved you can get as little as one week or as long as 30 days. Most people get about 15 days when approved.

You have to request it as soon as you can and it is best to let your recruiter know before you leave that this is what you want just to give them a heads up. They do not always approve this.
