Is it okay to bring a backpack ont the first day of school?

do most freshman girls do that?

Haha, no, the guys do it too. You’ll be better off bringing a backpack to school anyways, even if everyone else didn’t do it.

Your teachers will be handing out worksheets, usually for you to write about yourself, so you need to bring a pencil, maybe a pen, and some loose-leaf paper. Other than that, your lunch or lunch money, and definitely your class schedule. :] If you have a few folders, bring those too, so you can separate the papers you get from your other classes. When you get home from school, you won’t have to shuffle through and find which paper is for which class.

Also, some teachers might be issuing you your books on the first day, and you might not get lockers at that time, so it’s a good idea to bring a backpack or it’ll be difficult carrying everything.
