Cooler Serves

When in New York is a cool place to have a birthday number 40 and serves alcohol (bar / lounge / rare item / activity)?

For a group 5 to 15, where maybe the whole world pay for themselves and are likely to gather there. Everyone in the city so we are looking for something a little different and fun to do on a Saturday 3 October 2009
