Can you carry an unloaded handgun in a case in your backpack to school/streets etc without a CCW in California
What are the laws regarding that? Where is the borderline that calls it ‘concealed carry’ and requires a permit?
so could i:
take a gun, unload it, take the mag, unload it, put it in the original gun case. put that gun case in my backpack. walk around town. and on top of that scenerio- what are the ammo laws? i know they cant be in the mag cuz thats a loaded weapon. can they be out of the mag in the same box? or in a separate box in the backpack? any input would be great. thx
