Camping Travel Internal
Backpacking trip: Asking for help to choose backpack.?

Going backpacking expedition–or traveling outdoors (i.e. hiking, camping, and probably very long walk)

Which backpack should I pick? Internal or External Frames?

Please keep in mind that I’m quiet short, about 6’4″ or 164cm.
Any tips would help ^o^

Thx

Internal packs are usually more comfortable…most important is to get one that fits your body best…Don`t feel like you are wasting a salesperson`s time if you spend a couple of hours trying different ones on. It could save you a lot of misery and grief.
Also when trying them on put some weight in them…they will ride much different weighted than not.

A small piece of advise too…weight…keep it down as much as possible. Talk to some experienced backpackers for advise as to what to pack and what not to. Many outfitters will be more than happy to let you bring in your pack with all your gear and go through it piece by piece. Allow them to be brutally honest with you and your future backpacking trips will benefit..Good Luck and Happy hiking!
