camoflaging my rifle?

In the U.S. Army, can I camoflauge my rifle with camo tape and spray paint, or will this be considered damage to gov. property?

Yes… As said before it has to be command ok… To the guy stationed down at tallil… If you are not the recon/scout/rsta unit on tallil.. the fact you are on Tallil make you a POG.. INfantry ans scout units, yes we can “change” the apperance of our weapon… We had the armorer take some od tan spray paint from walmart and do up our rifles.. Also you don’t need just tape and paint.. Burlap around the scope mountsm pistol grip? Different color around the trigger assembly?

In combat units, yes you can get away with it.. Again in a combat unit you can get away with a lot more than a pog unit.. Ie when your fighting Hadji, you tend not to more worried about pog stuff like some 42a or cook.
