How I can get the blue background in this photograph sunset?

I took a picture of the sunset from my roof, with a digital camera (Canon Powershot 95 A). This is the picture: http://www.dynamiteham.com/sunset.JPG The part of the sky, even with the top of the church was a beautiful color blue in real life, but the photo makes the whole orange-red sky. Is there a place I could choose the camera to get that blue again next time?

First make a custom white balance. You can also adjust the image with photoshop to improve / color saturation. (Be careful not to overdo, however.) O)
