Coil Pack interchangeable? (From the car bike)?

I have a 150cc scooter and the coil current package it simply does not power down If e of about 1.6 ohms. They come in all different resistance values can be found at any auto parts store. I think that ended with a Ford pickup truck 1.43 ohm ballast. You need to connect the sinker on the wire between the 12 volt input connection of the ignition coil. Get that changed
