7x = 4y or 7x – 4y = 0

6y = 7x +70 or -7x + 6y = 70

7x – 4y = 0
-7x + 6y = 70

eliminate x

2y = 70
y = 35 blue

7x = 4y
7x = 4(35)
7x = 140
x = 20 red

originally there are 55 cubes in the bag. if you add 10, there are now 65 cubes in the bag
