Backpack Bladder
Do you think I have a parasite?

I’ve mean experiencing these symptoms for the past month: (in order of severity)
nausea
stomach cramps and back pain
diarrhea
chills

I’ve had a gall bladder ultrasound and a barium swallow test, I passed both and the doctors found nothing wrong.

But..I am still really sick, it occurs in cycles.
I am beginning to think I may have a parasite like Giardia(sp) because I went backpacking in the spring and drank water from creeks (filtered of course, but I’m still wary)

Any commentary would be helpful.

Maybe a good idea to go to another doctor and get a second opinion.
