Will I be able to see the aurora tonight where I am?

I live in a town near Cleveland, Ohio, to the west … (I will not say the name) not too far from Lake Erie, the lake is about less than 10 minutes from my house if my road bike. But I will not be because I am a girl of 14 years, I can not ride my bike to the beach at 2:00 am. The last time my road bike late at night I would see some fireworks, and on my way back a car came to me with 3 kids all shouting "NICE ASS!" to me while blowing air horns. Fear me out of Frick. But I can go on my roof the garage and watch. Will I even be able to see from there? What time I can get the best view? Is it worth staying for? I have to get up early to childcare so you do not want to stay up late if I will not be able to see anything.

Probably not. You're not far enough north, and sounds like you live in a suburban location where light pollution will dim any aurora that is there. I'm a couple hundred miles north you, and no aurora visible here. [Edit] "It's supposed to go as far south as New Orleans" No way! CME is a very small, and New Orleans aurora maybe once every 20 years. The media is being very irresponsible in this regard.
