We christian people pissed off about drug addiction support 1 Billion going for the training of a Dog Sniffing Salvation Army and a day of hunting house to house for signs of drugs an jailing every member of the household till police finds who is doing what and put them in jail for good. That will take care of the drug problem by Jove after getting like 50 million people in jail.
The only way to win the war on drugs is to legalize them. Remember prohibition was an abject failure and created whole new classes of criminals. Likewise has the prohibition on drugs achieved the opposite of the intended effect.

The Importance Of Hunting In Assyrian Art
Assyrians controlled the lands from the border of Egypt to the Persian gulf during the 9th century BC. A primary belief of the Assyrian society is that they were duty bound to their gods to advance their religion through conquest. The Assyrians were the first culture to use iron weapons. They were cunning military minds who mastered the art of war.
Their Army was imposing, and many regions simply surrendered to the Assyrians without resistance. If they did not, they faced an innovative military force whose rolling siege towers, enormous battering rams and charioteers offered a huge military advantage.
Not surprisingly, the ancient art of Mesopotamia suggests that hunting had an important symbolic value for the culture. In Assyria this was definitely the case as there are dozens of stone art works from Assyria that depict the Royal Hunt. The acient Assyrians placed great importance on the Royal Hunt as a means of demonstrating the kings rule over brute nature and his courage. By participating in the Royal Hunt, the King added to his own prestige and a heroic reputation. There is certainly exageration in the depiction of these activities, but the reliefs suggest that the kings were generally worthy rulers.
Ancient Assyrian art demonstrates the rich, ceremonial qualities of the Royal Hunt. Many of the artistic wall reliefs found by archaeologists show the king offering animals as sacrifices to Nergal, the sun God. This Mesopotamian god ruled the underworld and was known as the deity of war and pestilence.
Of all the animals hunted by the king and his royal party, the lion presented the greatest challenge and prestige. Armed with a spear and bow and riding in a chariot, the king would chase the lion and bring him down. When the lion was injured and down, the king would dismount the chariot and finish the lion off with his blade. It’s unclear just how much assistance he might have had in dispatching his prey, given glorification of the king in this art.
On display at the British Museum is a wall relief of Ashurbanipal, an Assyrian king, who is depcted riding on horseback with bow rasied. He is hunting wild donkeys which at the time were considered a nuisance. It was thought to be a very noble and worthy activity for the king to hunt the herd of wild asses and thin the population. The last great king of Assyria was Ashurbanipal. He ruled at the height of the Assyrian empire, but twenty years after his death the empire had fallen.
Many Assyrian wall reliefs have led scholars to believe that hunting lions was so popular that the local lion population was decimated. Lions where shipped in to Assyria from other locales to offer a suitable, entertaining hunt. This conclusion can be drawn from some Assyrian wall reliefs that show a lion being released from the cage.
