how do i cut trim to make an arc? with out using flex molding!!!?

Ive seen guys have an arch and cut lets say 30 pieces at diffrent angles to make an arch. how do they do that? is there a mathematical equation?

just take the drywall and cut it to the width you want(you’ll need extra length), get it wet and prop it between something so it sags in the middle (you might need to put something on it to make it sag better), let it dry like that and attach to the entry or where ever. to make the arch on wood for the framing you can just tie a string to a nail and make the arch shape to cut out.
