Question about the Indian Removal Act (Trail of Tears) very important, please help!?

Ok, so I was wondering why Congress ended Choose the area that made for the relocation of the Indians, I am very confused by that. Please help! Thanks!

Since Congress thought was sparsely populated that would be good as a Reserve of India. The different tribes of the Cherokee were sent there.
